What I miss....

So, last Friday was my last day of school, in Polytechnic. My last day of being a student. Oh gosh, I'm seriously gonna miss everything about being a student. I don't know where to begin.

I'm gonna miss attending lectures. I'm gonna miss not doing our own things during lecture. I'm gonna miss playing games (we used to play Bingo and Hangman) during lectures. I'm gonna miss writing down notes dilligently on my so-called, 'Bible'. I'm gonna miss munching on snacks during lectures. And of course, I definitely gonna miss the lecture theatres.

I'm gonna miss tutorials and how much fun we had during tutorials. From experimenting with bananas during Environmental Awareness to playing Math-based games during the Math module. From having to make funny sounds during Speech training (Hi honey!) to role playing in almost every modules that we had.

I'm gonna miss having presentations. I'm gonna miss talking to the class. I'm gonna miss the feeling I had everytime it's my turn to talk and everyone's staring at you as though they wanna eat you up. Urgh.

I'm gonna miss doing assignments. Camping out at the Library's ECH corner when dateline is just a week away. Staying up late in school just to get our job done. Looking for books for reference in the library but feeling a sense of frustration after you can't find the book that you want and realize that everyone else has gotten the book they wanted and kept it for themselves. C'mon, sharing is caring. Oh well, this is Singapore, everyone's Kiasu in their own ways. So I too learnt to be Kiasu. Heh. Anyways, I'm gonna miss crapping out some ideas and typing them down in my essay just to reach the minimum number of words. And I have to thank Microsoft for having the synonyms thingy cos it helps me ALOT! Haha. Whenever I run out of words to write. Ask me about referencing, and I can definitely remember the APA referencing style. Ah... what a torture especially during my first year. I was rather stumped when my lecturers introduced the APA to us. I was so confused and don't know what it was for. And felt that it was just a way for lecturers to torture us more. Haha. But now I know how important and essential it is.

To be continued.....
